Clear Span, CS
Max practical width

Ideal when unobstructed space is required. E.g. airplane hangars & factories needing flexible layouts
Multi-Span, MS-1
Max practical width per module

One interior column, usually at the ridge line. This allows for wider spans compared to clear span frames.
Multi-Span, MS-2
Max practical width per module

Two interior columns. This allows for wider spans & the possibility of overhead cranes in one or more bays.
Multi-Span, MS-3

Three or more interior columns. This allows for the widest possible building widths of all frame types.
